Speakman, removes from this world a fine, strong soul whose life long ministry has been for the help of mankind. Miss Speakman was the daughter of the late Elisha and Hannah (Woodward)Speakman, of Londonderry township,and was 70 years of age. Her life work was education and she served as a teacher at Los Vegas,N.M.; New Windsor Md. and was also an instructure in the public schools of this borough, as well as Martin Acedemy. She was well equipped and mentally strong woman and during a large part of hr life much work in the home missionary field. So beloved was she in New Mexico that her converts turned over to her their idols. She was a devoted member of the PresbyertainChurch. Her remains will be brought to Kennett Square on Saturday and will rest at the home of Miss Mary Way, Marshall street, prior to burial. 11/21/1915 Speakman-At New Windor Md. on October 29, Anna Mary Speakman. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral without further notice from the residence of Miss Mary E.
