On Tuesday the ---(can`t read one word) Chalkey Speakman a citizen of Westtown township this county, fell dead at Hemphill`s Station, on the W.C.& P.R.R., while waiting for the train for Philadelphia, where he was going to attend the Grant reception.He was a carpenter by trade, and had lived in Westtown all his life. His son, Chalkley Speakman jr. is the agent at the station where his father died. Heart disease is supposed to have been the cause of death.
