His body was brought to Oxford Friday. Funeral services were held this morning at the Union M.E. Church,West Nottingham, and interment made in the adjoining cemetery. Mr. Speakman was born near Hopewell, the son of the late Lewis Speakman. All his life was spent in this neighborhood, with the exception of the last twelve years, when he went to Embreeville. Four brothers and one sister survive: Lewis of Coatesville, Joseph of Lower Oxford, Joshua of Farmington Md., McClellan, of Cochranville, and Miss Jennie Speakman of Philadelphia.
