EBENEZER M. SPEAKMAN
In his 70th year Ebenezer M. Speakman died yesterday afternoon at his late 
home, fifth avenue and Walnut street. He leaves behind a widow, formerly Annie 
Hoopes, daughter of Joseph Hoopes, Embreeville, and the follow children: Bert 
Speakman, Embreeville,; Maud wife of A. Allen, Philadelphia; Rachel, wife of 
Samuel Eddins, Coatesville;Eva, Philadelphia;Ira at home and the following 
brothers and sisters: Mrs. James G. Pugh, Coatesville, Edward C. Speakman,Mrs. 
Ella Patterson, Embreeville; Emmarine, wife Rev. Cyrus Mendenhall, Michigan. 
For amny years Mr. Speakman was employed as a heater in the Coatesville Mills.


In Coatesville June 28,1916, Ebenezer M. Speakman in his 71st year. Realticves 
and friends are invited to attend the funeral from his late residence Fifth 
avenue and Walnut street on Sunday July 2. Meet at the house at 2 o'clock p.m. 
Interment at Marshallton, Automobile funeral. Remains may be viewed at 
Marshallton on arrival of funeral.
