He was the son of the late Fred Speakman, Coatesville andis survived by his wife, the former Luella J. Martin, formerly of Bethelem, Pa. and a brother, Paul Speakman, Hanover, N.J. Speakman, a resident of Hackson, Mich., was employed by the Goodyear tire and Rubber Company and had gone to Mexico Ciy at the beginning of the year on business. His wife, notified fo his serious illness flew from Chicago to his beside. A graduate of Leigh university in the class 1918, Speakman was a member of the track team there.
