Miss Laura Speakman of Goshen Heights, has recieved word of the death of her 
brother Samuel A. Speakman of Redland Cal.
     Mr. Speakman spent his early life in Malvern, where he learened the 
carpenter trade with the late Alban Hall, of Malvern. He married Miss Mattie 
Delaney, of Germantown, who is deceased. He moved to California several years 
ago.
     He was the  son of the late Brinton and Fannie Irwin Speakman, of 
Malvern. Two daughters survive, Miss Florence of Los Angeles Cal., and Alice 
at home. Mrs. Charles Edwards, of Berwyn, is a cousin.
