Steele 40 Oxford RD 2, co-operator of Steele's Used Furniture Store, Market Street, died Wednesday January 24, 1968 at Loch Raven VA Hospital, Baltimoe, Md. after a lengthy illness. Born in lower Oxford Township, son of the late George F. Steele and Margaret Phillips Steele. He resided with his sister Hazel Steele with whom he was in the furniture business. He was a projectionist at the Oxford Met Theater for 15 years. He served in the US Army WW 11 and was a graduate of Oxford High School 1936 Funeral services were held January 27 from Cauffman Funeral Home, Oxford, Pa. Rev. Frank Girdwood officiating. Interment in Oxford, Pa.
