"Daily Local News" February 3, 1922
     Word was received in this place this forenoon of the death, at 
Centerville, Del., of Mrs, Rosalia Strickland, aged 80 years, who had been in 
poor health for a long time .  A local funeral director left to bring the body 
here for interment and funeral services.
     Mrs. Strickland was the widow of Nimrod Strickland, for many years a well-
known resident of this place, and lived here for many years, where she had a 
wide circle of relatives and friends.  She leaves two sons, Robert of Spokane, 
Washington, and Brenholtz G., with a Wilmington, Del., trust company for a 
number of years.
 
 


Additional Comments:
Nimrod Strickland, Jr., father of Nimrod Gould, is buried at Oakland cemetery. 
He died in 1881.
