Sturgis On Saturday night at 11:35 o'clock at Frazer, the death of Carroll C. Sturgis occurred. Mr. Sturgis was born at Cape Charles, VA., and lived there and New York before coming to Chester County about five years ago. He was an active worker in the Frazer Presbyterian Church, serving on the board of trustees, and organized the Frazer Men's Club. He was also a member of Chester Valley Grange, no. 1496, holding the office of assistant steward at the time of his death. He is survived by his widow, the former Mary C. Patton, a teacher in the public schools of Philadelphia. Mrs. Sturgis' father, William C Patton, was a native of Hopewell, Chester County. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at Mauger's Funeral Home, 24 Monument Ave, Malvern, on Wednesday, Jan. 28, at 11 a.m. Interment in Mt Moriah Cemetery, Philadelphia. Friends may call on Tuesday evening 7 to 9 o'clock.
