Mrs. Charles Trego
Mrs. Carrie Ash Hayes Trego, widow of Charles Trego, passed away at ten minutes 
of 3 o’clock this morning at the home of her grandson, Charles Hayes, of 
Downingtown.

She was in her 76th year and had been in failing health for some time.  
Recently her condition had been critical.  She had been a highly regarded 
resident of Downingtown for many years.

Four grandchildren survive:  Charles Hayes, at whose home she passed away; 
Eleanor, wife of Walter W. Hill, of Drexel Hill; William and Joseph Hayes, of 
Philadelphia.  There are five great-grandchildren. Half-sister and half-
brothers surviving are: Mrs. Irma Swope of Baltimore, Md; William C. Ash, of 
Overbrook; Horace Ash, of Winchester, Mass., and Earl Ash, of Washington, DC.

Mr. Trego, her husband, was at one time associated with Buffalo Bill.  He died 
in1926.  The deceased was a member of Downingtown Baptist Church.
