Daily Local News, March 16, 1918 VAN LEAR-In Downingtown, PA., on Saturday, arch 
16, 1918, Bessie, wife of  Hibberd Van Lear, and daughter of the late Jeremiah 
and Elizabeth Jacobs, aged 38.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend the 
funeral at Mt. Raymond A.M.E. Church at 2 pm on Monday 18th inst.  Interment at 
Lindley Hill.
