WALKER A former burgess of Modena and manager of the Brandywine Transit Company, Harry F.Walker,67, died yesterday afternoon at his home on Brandywine Avenue, Modena. He had suffered a heart condition for some time. At the time of his retirement from the Brandywine Transit Company in 1946 he was manager and largest shareholder. He had been associated with the company since 1912. Born in Wilmington, a son of Harry and Mary Walker, he came to Modena at the age of 16 and lived there and in Coatesville for the last 50 years. Mr.Walker was a member of the Modena Presbyterian Church and served as a trustee of the church. He was a chartter and life member of the Modena fire company. Surviving him are his wife, Beule Bradford Walker, Modena; two daughters, Ruth, wife of Robert McNelly, of Royersford, and Mildred, wife of Townsend Groce, of Coatesville; two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Kennedy, of Odessa,Del, and Anna, wife of James Lloyd, of Parkesburg, and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at two o'clock from the Roberts funeral home, 1030 East Lincoln Highway. Interment will be in Fairview cemetery.
