Rev. William Johnson conducted the services. Miss Walls died late Monday evening after a long illness of pulmonary tuberculosis. She was sixty-three years old, a daughter of William Walls. During the residence of Rev. Melancthon W. Jacobus, in Oxford, the deceased was the housekeeper for his establishment. After his departure she went to live with the Rendalls, in Lincoln University, in the same capacity. She remained with them until ill health forced her to give up active work.
