Warnick Yesterday afternoon, Mary E., wife of George Warnick, of East Bradford, died at the Chester County Hospital, of blood poisoning, aged 42 years. The deceased was brought to the Hospital on November 14th for treatment but the trouble could not be overcome. The blood poisoning resulted from childbirth, the infant still being alive and hearty at a sister’s of the deceased. Mrs. Warnick was a daughter of William Curry and is survived by a husband and ten children. She belonged to the Downingtown A.M.E. Church and attended the same regularly, being a devout and consistent member. She was conscious until the last and was fully prepared and willing to go. The husband has lost a kind and industrious helpmate and the children a dutiful and faithful mother. The funeral will take place on Sunday, services being held at the A.M.E. Church, in West Chester at one p.m. and interment made afterward at Chestnut Grove Cemetery thias (sic) place. Additional Comments: Date pencilled on the article was Daily Local News, 11/11/1905.
