Three other persons were inured in the crashes, which claimed the lives of Alfred Thomas Warren, 63, 500 S. High Street and James Wallace, 54, of 63 Carver Ct, Coatesville. Warren died yesterday in Chester County Hospital, where he was taken after his car collided at 7:15 a.m. with an auto driven by Mrs. Margery M. Brown, 61, of 31 Chatwood Ave., West Chester. State Police at Avondale said Warren’s southbound car apparently swerved into the northbound land on Rt. 52, five miles south of West Chester, and struck Mrs. Brown’s car head-on, resulting in damages estimated by Trooper James Schaefer at a total of $1,600. Mrs. Brown was admitted to Chester County Hospital for treatment of contusions of the forehead, chest and right arm, and was listed in satisfactory condition today. An autopsy has been scheduled to determine whether or not Warren might have suffered a heart attack immediately prior to the crash. New Castle Native A native of New Castle, De., Mr. Warren was the son of Rachael Donahue Warren and the late William Warren. He had lived in West Chester for the past six years, and had previously resided in the Downingtown-Coatesville area. He was employed in the maintenance department at West Chester State College, and was a member of Downingtown Lodge 1153, L.O.O.M; Westwood Fire Company No. 1, and the VFW of West Chester. Surviving in addition to his wife, Matilda Kikl (sic) Warren, and his mother who resides in Coatesville, are five brothers, Lloyd, of Westwood, Coatesville; James, John and Charles E., all of Coatesville, and William of Florida, and two sisters, Mrs. Della W. Heppe of Coatesville and Mrs. Mary W. Lynman of Downingtown. WARREN- of 500 S. High St., West Chester, Pa., on Sunday, April 13, 1969, Alfred Thomas Warren, husband of Matilda Mikl Warren, in his 64th year. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service from the James W. Wilde & son Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, on Wednesday April 16th, at 10:30 a.m. Interment Parkesburg Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday evening after 7 o’clock. Daily Local News April 18, 1969 Alfred T. Warren Funeral services were held Wednesday for Alfred T. Warren of 500 S. High St., West Chester, from James W. Wilde & Sons Funeral Home in Parkesburg. The Rev. Paul Hagenberger of Parkesburg United Methodist Church had charge of the service. On Tuesday friends called at the funeral home to pay respects. Father McGartland of Our Lady of Consolation R.C. Bural (sic) was in Parkesburg Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers were James Warren, John Warren, Lloyd Warren, William Warren, Charles Mikl, and John Graubart.
