Watson Sallie A. Watson, daughter of the late John and Mary W. Hoskins, and widow of the late James J. Watson died at her home Saturday, at 6:30m from complication after an illness of several weeks. She was born near West Chester, being one of many children, most of whom have since died. The Hoskins family were well known throughout this section of Chester county. Her ancestors came from England. Mrs. Watson had a large circle of friends and relatives to mourn her loss. She was a very industrious and active woman, a god Christian mother and sympathetic to all. Being married twice she had three children by her first husband, the late Harry C. Gray, two of whom are living, William J and Ellwood E. Gray; Edward Francis having died while a child. She had one daughter by her second husband, Mrs. John Veit. Daily Local News December 3, 1923 Watson- on the 1st inst., Sallie A. widow of James J. Watson, in her 72nd year. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at her late residence NO.300 West Lafayette St. on Thursday, the 6th inst. At 2 o’clock. Interment at Grove M.E. Cemetery.
