He was about 55 years old. Mr. Weidel was a native of Meyerstown, Pa, but moved from that town to Valley Forge a number of years ago. For a time he resided in Mont Clare, before he moved to Phoenixville. He was a butcher by occupation and had been employed by Calvin and James R. Eyrich for the past eighteen years. Mr. Weidel was a member of the Lutheran Church, of Meyerstown, and of the Loyal Order of Moose, of Phoenixville. He is survived by a widow and one daughter, Mrs. Ruby McDermott, Phoenixville, and by a brother and a sister, who reside in Meyerstown and by two grandchildren. (only Weidel I saw in the clippings file at Chester County Historical Society- 6/8/05-) Phoenixville is in the general area of your description. You may want to look around Meyersville, where ever that is. danoh19344@hotmail.com This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/pafiles/ File size: 1.6 Kb
