He was educated at Harmony Hill, and worked most of his life for the Philadelphia Rapid Transit Company, from which he was pensioned about eight years ago. He was a member of Excelsior Lodge No. 491, F. and A.M., Philadelphia. Survivors are two brothers, Walter, Philadelphia, and Clarence, cedar Knoll, N.J., and three sisters, Nettie, wife of George Witworth, Bridg3ton, N.J., Lydia, wife of William Meldrum, West Chester, and Ethel, wife of Clare Glauner, Downingtown. IBID: WEIR- In Bridgeton, N.J., on Sept. 27, Dawson, husband of the late Jane Nickey Weir, in the 80thyar of his age. Relatives and friends of the family, also members of Excelsior Lodge No. 491, F. and A.M., are invited to attend the funeral without further notice from the Hicks Funeral Home, 229 S. High St. West Chester, on Monday, Oct. 2, at 2 P.M. Interment in Willistown Friends Burial Grounds. Friends may call Sunday evening.
