Howard Earl Weir, of 423 S. Church St.,  West Chester, a retired employee of 
the Hercules Powder Co. Experimental Station, Wilmington, died today at 
Memorial Hospital, West Chester, after an illness of seven months.  He was 76.

The husband of Lillian Baxter Weir, Mr. Weir retired in 1955.  He was born in 
Willistown, the son of Caleb and Hannah Howard Weir.  He was a member of West 
Chester Lodge 32 F. and A.M.

Surviving in addition to his wire are two daughters, Miss Mary R Weir, at home 
and Janice W., wife of Karl B Etshied, of Camp Hill; a sister, Mrs. Diller 
Althouse, of Lansdowne, and two grand children.
