Mary Jane SHENEMAN WERT 3/1842-2/1925

Mary Jane (SHENEMAN) WERT from Local Daily News, Saturday 2/7/1925:

Mrs. Bentley WERT, formerly of Honey Brook, and widow of an old resident 
here, who recently died at the home of her son, in Reading, was buried 
from the Honey Brook M E Cemetery, on Thursday morning, with services 
in charge of the pastor, Rev. T William Smith, and interment in the 
local M E Cemetery.  The choir of the local church sang at the funeral.  
Relatives and friends present from out-of-town included George Derr, 
Jacob Wert and Mrs. Hollenbach, of Reading; her daughter, Mrs. Lulu 
Brown, of Youngstown, Ohio; Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Bevan of Media; Mr. and 
Mrs. Howard Hollinger and little daughter, of Lititz, Lancaster county; 
Ralph Wert of Terre Hill, and Clarence Wert of Coatesville.

Mary Jane SHENEMAN was dau of Jacob SHENEMAN and Maria STRICKER.  George 
W DERR was her son-in-law married to daughter Elnora (Nora) WERT; Mrs. 
Howard HOLLINGER was Gertrude WERT, granddaughter, dau of son John H WERT 
and wife Sara A/Sallie GLATFELTER; Ralph and Clarence WERT were grandsons 
and brothers of Gertrude;   Ralph P BEVAN was married to granddaughter 
Margie B WERT, another dau of John H WERT and Sara A.
