Wetzler Dies After Long Illness J. Harry Wetzler, 260 Locust St., New Holland, died early Thursday morning, March 3, at the Lancaster General Hospital after an illness of 18 months. He was 72. He had been a farmer for many years but later was employed by the Earl Sauder Feed Company, New Holland. Before his retirement he was a custodian at the Garden Spot High School. Born in Salisbury Township, a son of the late George and Ida Spotts Wetzler, he was a member of Mt. Tabor Evangelical United Brethren Church. Surviving are his wife, Esther Frankhouser Wetzler, on daughter, E. Nora, wife of Howard T. Johnson, New Holland R2; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary, wife of G. Dewey Elmer, Honey Brook R2, and a brother, Ira, Narvon R2. Funeral services were held from the George D. High Funeral Home, New Holland, on Sunday, March 6, at 2 p.m. Interment was in Ranck’s E.U.B.
