DEATH OF AN AGED COLORED MAN.
     Nelson Wiggins, during his long life well-known and respected in this 
locality, died at the colored Home, in Wilmington, on Thursday, aged 94 years. 
The deceased was born in New Garden and carried on post and rail fence making 
for many years. He was esteemed for his industry, honesty, and soberity and 
was as faithful to his church throughout his life as he was to his civil 
obligations. He leaves three sons, Nelson Wiggins, of Pemberton, and Reuben 
and Thomas Wiggins, living in Wilmington, Del. The funeral will takes place on 
sunday. Interment to be made in New Garden, commonly known as Bucktee.
