Williams, husband of Marie M. Williams, 323 North Darlington street passed away in the Chester County Hospital this morning at 6:5 o’clock following a short illness. He had been hospitalized for eighteen days. The son of the late Follest and Hester Williams White, he was born at Exton June 25, 1901, and spent most of his life here. For the past eighteen years, he was an employee of the State Teachers College in this borough. He was a member of St. Paul’s Baptist Church, the Star Social Club of West Chester and the Captain Levi M. Hood Lodge of Elks no 159. Surviving in addition to his wife, Marie are thirteen children: Mrs. F.W. Anderson, Wilmington; Hester Elaine, Brooklyn, N.Y.. Mrs. Barbara Howard, Ernest, Jr., Mrs. Josephine Medley, John Milburne, Mary Roberta, Charles Henry, Follest Vincent, Charity Louise, Marie Theresa, Agnes Patricia, and Constance Hope all at home. Also surviving are two brothers, Lewis of Philadelphia and Nelson of this place; a sister Mrs. Hester C. Burton of this place and six grandchildren. Relatives and friends of the family and members of the Capt. Levi M. Hood Lodge No. 159, I.B.P.O.E. of W. and the Star Social Club are invited to attend the funeral without further notice from the St. Paul’s Baptist Church on Monday Jan. 8 at 1:00pm Interment Lendley (sic) Hill Cemetery, Downingtown.
