Williams, husband of Josephine Lewis Williams and son of the late Hester Williams White and Follest G. Williams, passed away suddenly at his residence, 134N. Redfield St., Philadelphia, Saturday morning, October 11, at 5:30 o’clock. He was born in Exton. Later the family moved to West Chester where he spent a number of years During that time he was a member of St. Paul’s Baptist Church. Fir over 25 years the deceased had made his home in Philadelphia. There he was an active member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church; the Leonard C. Irvine Lodge of INPO of Elks, and the Past Exalted Ruler, Council No. 7 E.D. of Pennsylvania. He is survived by his wife, Josephine of Philadelphia, a stepdaughter, Mrs. Oleatha Reynolds of New York; one brother, George Nelson Williams, and one sister, Mrs. Hester Burton, both of West Chester, and other relatives. Interment at Lindley Hill Cemetery, Downingtown, Pa. at noon Thursday.
