Local News, June 26,1906

"Mrs. Esther Wilson, for a year or more a resident of the Friends' Boarding home 
here, died yesterday in the 90th year of her age.She had not been able to leave 
her room for many months. Her maiden name was Gray and she was the widow of the 
late Stephen  Wilson of Hockessin,Del. The late John Gray, of New Garden 
township ,was a brother of the deceased. Her funeral will take place from 
Hockesson Meeting House on Thursday afternoon."

June 28,1906

A funeral, a picnic and a wedding are among the events in town today. Mrs. 
Esther Wilson, whose death occurred at the Friends' Home here, a few days ago, 
and whose burial will take place at Hockessin this afternoon."
