Mrs. Frances A. Wolfe

The funeral of Mrs. Frances A. Wolfe will take place this afternoon at two 
o’clock; interment at Chestnut Grove Cemetery, adjoining this borough.  Mrs. 
Wolfe died early Monday morning in her rooms over the Charles T. young’s store, 
West Gay Street, at the age of 78 years from an attack of heart disease. She 
was the mother of James Anderson, this borough, and leaves several grown up 
children.

Mrs. Frances Wolfe

Was buried yesterday afternoon from the home of her daughter on West Gay 
Street.  Services were conducted by  Rev. Charles L. Jefferson, of Wilmington, 
Delaware, a former pastor of the Second Presbyterian Church, this borough, of 
which congregation the deceased was a consistent member.  
Rev C.L. Butler, of Lincoln University, who is at present filling the pulpit of 
the local church, and Rev. Mr. Johnson, of Oxford colored church, also assisted 
at the services.  The pall bearers were James Granville, Jacob, Alfred and 
George Anderson, sons of the  dead woman, and John G. Gladman.  Interment was 
made at Chestnut Grove Cemetery, by undertaker Joseph B. Smith.

Frances Morton Wolfe
Frances Morton Wolfe, widow of Ananias Wolfe, died at her home at Romansville, 
in West Bradford township, on Saturday last, at the advanced age of eighty-four 
years, 11 months and 17days.  She was an old colored lady much respected by the 
residents of that hamlet, especially by the school children, for whom she 
always had a cheery greeting.
