Peter Wolf, colored, died in Oxford on July 4, in the 85th year of his age. He was buried Sunday at Calvary, the services being held in the church. Addresses were made by Rev. Jeremiah Proctor and Dr. Spencer Myers, Rev Mr. Brock assisting. Deceased was born near Marshalton and lived for years at Mt. Vernon. He worked at various times for the farmers of that vicinity. His last employer was James Ferguson, no of Cream, who for several years operated the flour mill at Tweedale. Peter drove the delivery wagon into Oxford and became on these trips a familiar figure on our streets. Mr. and Mrs. Ferguson held him in esteem and remembered him through his final years.
