Last of her Generation
The funeral of Elizabeth Wynn, of East Nantmeal, widow of Jonathan Wynn, who 
died on the 8th inst., took place on Thursday, the 11th, at St. Mary’s Church, 
Chester County.  A number of relatives and friends were in attendance.  
Deceased, who was about 81 years old, was the mother of John R. Wynn or 
Pottstown, and Mrs. Clayton Pike, of East Nantmeal.  She was the last of her 
generation of the Wynn family, of whom there were seven brothers- Thomas, 
James, Isaac, Jonathan, Samuel, David and William Wynn- and one sister, Emily, 
prominent people during the past fifty years, now all gone with their life 
partners, but leaving many descendants in Chester county and elsewhere.
