Her age was 84 years, 9 months and 15 days. During the sickness of the old lady, caused by the infirmities of age, Mrs. Eliza Ann, wife of Harrison Wynn, nursed her mother-in-law, and with self- sacrifice gave to her unselfish care. The burden, however, was too great, and the faithful and devoted daughter-in-law became ill with pneumonia and notwithstanding the best medical attention and loving devotion on the part of husband and friends the lady survived her husband’s mother scarcely three days, yielding the stern call of death early Wednesday morning. Deceased wife was 58 years of age and leaves beside her husband four children- two sons and two daughters- to cherish her memory. She was the daughter of the late Richard Dampman, of St. Mary’s, and a niece of Lewis Dampman and Mrs. Stephen Lazarus, and a cousin of Mrs. Annie M. Griesemer, Mrs. Harvey Sheeler, Mrs. George Rahn, Mrs. William G. Rahn, Jonas Boyer, J. Lewis Boyer, Howard Dampman and Isaiah Dampman, all of Pottstown. She was a sister to Mrs. Jonathan Geary, North Coventry, and Mrs. Frank Fawkes, of Frick’s Locks. Her remains will be buried to-day in the family burial ground at St. Mary’s. The remains of Mrs. Wynn were buried Wednesday. The bereaved husband is a widely know citizen. He was at one time superintendent of the iron ore mines at St. Mary’s and proprietor of a general merchandise store. He is at present employed in the U.S. Mint at Philadelphia.
