Wheras Randel Croxson of uper Providence in the County of Chester and Province 
of Pennsilvania & Sarah Garratt daughter of William & Ann Garratt of Darby in 
the Province and County Afores’d haveing declared theire Intentions of Takeing 
Each Other as Husband & wife before Severall mens & womens meetings of the 
people Called Quakers According to ye Good order used Amongst them, Whose 
proseedings therein After Deliberat Consideration thereof and Consent of 
ffriends & Relations Concerned being approved of the Sd meetings. --- Now 
these are to Certifie all whom it may Concerne that for ye full Determination 
of there Sd Intentions this eight day of ye Second month in ye yeare one 
Thousand Seven Hundred & two:  The Said Randel Croxson and Sarah Garratt 
Appeared At A Publique & Solemne Assembly of the aforesd people att ye publiqe 
Meeting house in Darby & According to ye example of ye holy men of God 
Recorded in ye Scriptures of truth he the Said Randel Croxson takinge the Sd 
Sarah Garratt by ye hand did openly declare as ffolloweth -- friends in ye 
presence of God & amongst y his people I take this my ffriend Sarah Garratt to 
be my wife promising to hir to be A Loving husband unto hir till it please God 
by death to Sepperate us - And then & therein in ye Sd Assembly ye Sd Sarah 
Garratt did openly Declare as ffolloweth ffriends in the presence of the Lord 
& in ye Audinse of you his people I take this my ffriend Randel Croxson to be 
my husband promising through the Lords Assistance to be Loving Wife unto him 
until it please God by Death to Sepperat us And the Sd Randel Craxson & Sarah 
Garratt as A Further Confirmation thereof then & there to these presents Sett 
there hands: And wee whose names are hereunto Subscribed being present at the 
Solemnizing of theire Sd Marraig & Subscription as witnesses thereunto doe 
alsoe Subscribe our names ye day & Yeare above written.
