A quiet wedding took place at the home of Ezekiel Hamilton, on East Chestnut 
Street, on Thursday evening last, at six o’clock, when his daughter, Lizzie was 
united in the holy bonds of matrimony to Alfred L. Devertu, in the presence of 
a few invited friends.  The newly married couple will shortly take up their 
residence on East Chestnut Street.


Additional Comments:
Surname is Devertu in this announcement.  Both their obituaries have it 
Deverter or DeVerter
