HARTENSTINE-ALLISON- On Wednesday evening at 7 0’clock, at the home of the 
bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Allison, near Glen Moore, Pa., by Rev. 
Chas. F. Carll, Mr. J. Walter Hartenstine, of East Nantmeal, and Miss Bertha 
E. Allison.

A very pretty wedding occurred at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and 
Mrs. J. M. Allison, Glen Moore, on Wednesday evening, January 8th, 1902, at 7 
o’clock, when J. Walter Hartenstine, of East Nantmeal, and Miss Bertha E. 
Allison were united in matrimony by Rev. Charles F. Carll, assisted by Rev. 
C.J. Culp.

The wedding march was rendered by Mrs. Oscar Fillman, a sister of the 
bridegroom.  After congratulations, the happy pair led the way to a well-
loaded table of good things.  Only the immediate relatives and friends were 
present, among whom were Mr. and Mrs. J.M. Allison, Miss Clara V. Allison, 
Jesse M. Allison, Miss Lizzie E Allison, Master J. Russell Allison, Mr. and 
Mrs. T.K. Hartenstine, Miss Carrie D. Hartenstine, Mr. and Mrs. Ezra D. 
Gaston, Miss Edith B. Gaston, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Fillman, Mr. Jos. S. White, 
Mrs. Ernest Collins, Mrs. Eli D. Dilworth, Miss Mary Shingle, Miss E. Laura 
Shingle, Rev. and Mrs. C.J. Culp, Rev and Mrs. Chas. F. Carll.
