Lane-Speakman
Mrs. Charles Arthur Speakman and Arthur E. Lane, both of No. 2 Park Lane, 
Mount Vernon , N.Y. were married Saturday at the Church of the Ascension, 
Mount Vernon, by the rector of the Church, Rev. Melford L. Brown.
Mrs. Lane is the former Miss Aimee D. Zane, daughter of the late George S. and 
Ella D. Zane life long residents of West Chester, and resided at 342 West 
Miner Street, until her marriage to Mr. Speakman , on November 10,1897. She 
was prominent in social activities of this place,performing many times in 
plays and operas during her girlhood. At one time she was the soprano soloist 
of the First Presbyerian Church and her last performance was as the soubrette 
in an operetta," The Dr. of Alcantra," in June 1897.
