Herbert Wilson Masters, Coatesville, and Miss Mary Catherine Bair, daughter of 
Elias Bair, ex-Clerk of Courts, Sadsburyville, were married at noon today in 
Avondale Presbyterian Church, the ceremony being performed by Rev. Thomas R. 
McDowell.  The wedding was a quiet but very pretty one.  After an extensive 
tour, Mr. and Mrs. Masters will reside in Coatesville, where the groom is 
employed in the office of the Mutual Fire Insurance Company of Chester County.

WEDDING
The wedding of Miss Mary Bair, of Sadsburyville, to Mr. Herbert Masters, of 
Coatesville, took place this afternoon at three o’clock in the Presbyterian 
Church of Avondale, by the Rev Thomas McDowell, formerly pastor of Octoraro 
Presbyterian Church, of Sadsburyville.  Miss Bair, who was formerly a teacher 
in the public schools of this place, is well known here, having a large circle 
of friends. Mr. Masters is also well known here.
