Parkesburg, Dec. 21- A pretty wedding took place on Saturday afternoon at 2 
o’clock at the rectory of Our Lady of Consolation Church, Parkesburg, when Miss 
Bernice N. Remsel, daughter of Mrs. Grant Parthemer, of First Avenue, became 
the bride of Charles S. Mikl, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Mikl, of Pomeroy.  The 
ceremony was performed by Dr. Simon Carr, rector of the church.  After the 
reception, the couple left on a trip by automobile.  On their return, they will 
reside at their newly furnished home at Sadsburyville.  The groom is employed 
at the Bicking Paper mills, Downingtown.  Guests were present from Harrisburg, 
Pomeroy, Parkesburg and vicinity.
