All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/pafiles.htm ************************************************ Daily Republican June 11 1956 Palms and white flowers including chrysanthemums and snapdragon banked the bay window at the home of Mr and Mrs. Walter P Cook, "Maple Shade Farm," Ridge Road to form the setting for a wedding Saturday afternoon at 2 when their daughter Miss Betty Cook, became the bride of William W Ralston of spring city. The bridegroom is a son of the late Anna Fulmer. The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev Thomas Bare, pastor of Bethel Methodist Church in the presence of more than 100 relatives and close friends. Mrs. Howard Montgomery, soloist sang "Because." "I Love You Truly" and the "Lord's Prayer." Following the ceremony refreshments were served buffet style by the members of the Pollyanna Class of Bethel Methodist Church. Refreshment tables were placed on the lawn. Later in the day Mr and Mrs. Ralston left for a honeymoon trip to Wildwood New Jersey. Upon their return they will make their home with the bride's parents until their new home on Ridge Road is completed. The bride was graduated from Spring City High School with the class of 1948. For the past five years she has been employed by the Spring City Bleach and Dye Co. Mr Ralston who attended school at Chester Springs is a carpenter.
