Smith and Mary Agnes Lundy were married at Paoli, in their own beautifully furnished home, by the Rev. Lewis Adams Parsels. Among the guests present were the following: Rev. Lewis Adams Parsels and Wife, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, father and mother of the groom: three brothers and one sister of the groom, Harry Baldwin, wife and son Clarence, Mrs. Allison, of Philadelphia; Emma Allison, of Philadelphia; George Renshaw, of Thorndale, Pa.; Mr. Goodman, besides many others. The guests were especially delighted with the pretty wedding ceremony, the supper and refreshments, the excellent instrumental and vocal music rendered by George Renshaw, also the chaste and original wit of Mr. Goldman.
