Whereas George Webb of ye Township of Kennit in ye County of Chester
& Province of Pennsylvania son of Daniel Webb Decesd. & Ann Swayen Daughter
of William Swayne of East Marlborrough (Decs.) Having declared their intentions
of marriage with Easch other before several monthly meetings of ye Christian people
Called Quakers of Newgarden & Londongrove in ye County of aforsd according to ye
good order used among them, and having Consent of Relations & fr.?? Concerned
their sd proprosals of marriage was allowed of by ye sd meetings

Now these are to Certifie whom it may concern ye for ye full accomplishing
their sd Ineentions this tenth day of ye fourth mo in ye year of our Lord
one thousand seven hundred & fifty four, they ye sd George Webb & Ann Swayne
appeared in a Publick assembly of ye sd people at their meeting house in
Londongrove and ye sd George Webb taking ye sd ann Swayne by ye hand did in
a solemn manner openly Declare that he tooky ye sd Ann Swayne to be his
Wife, Promising with ye Lords assistance to be unto her a Loving & faithfull
Husband untill Death should seperate them, and then & there in ye sd
assembly ye sd Ann Swayne did in like manner openly declare ye she
took ye sd George Webb to be her Husband promising with ye Lords assistance
to be unto him a Loving & faithfull wife untill Death should
seperate them (or words to ye same Effect)  Moreover they ye sd
George Webb & Ann Swayne She according to ye sustom of marriage
assuming ye name of her husband as a further confirmation thereof
did unto these presents set their hands }  George Webb
                                        }  Ann Webb

And we who were present at ye Solemninzing
of ye sd marriage & subscription as Witnesses thereunto do under write
our names ye day & year above written
