All Rights Reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/pafiles.htm ********************************************************* Will of Mary Darlington dated 4 August 1813 proved 16 August 1813 recorded in Chester County PA Will Book L pp 539-540 In the name of God amen I Mary Darlington of the Township of Honey brook and County of Chester being weak of body but of Sound mind and memory (Blessed be God) do make this my Last will & testament in manner and form following Viz; Item I give and bequeath unto my niece Hanna Jones the one half of my plantation with all the improvements Thereon where Richard Humphrey now lives to her and to her heirs and assigns Item the other half of my Plantation I give and bequeath unto my nephew David Olenkirk he paying the Sum of One hundred and fifty pounds to be paid in one year after my decease to my Executors Item I give and bequeath unto the Trustees of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church in the United States of America and to their Successors and assigns the sum of One hundred pounds to be funded in the permanent fund and the Annual Interest to be applied to the civilizing and instructing in the Indians in north America under the directions of Said Assembly I give and bequeath unto my Nephew Doctor John Mcamon all the manor land in my possession bounded by the lands of Joseph and Samuel McElduff and others Item I give and bequeath unto my Nephew James McCamon my Clock. Item I give and bequeath to Maria Jones daughter of David and Hannah Jones a Bed and Bed Cloths in the Back Room above Stairs Item I give and bequeath to my niece Mary White forty dollars Item I give and bequeath to my niece Rebecca Happersett 40 Dollars Item I give and bequeath unto my Niece Margaret Graham forty Dollars Item I give and bequeath unto my Niece Abby Grahams forty Dollars James Grahams Two Daughters Item I give and bequeath unto my Niece Margaret Graham Forty Dollars Item I give and bequeath unto my Niece Sarah Graham forty Dollars Michael Grahams Two Daughters Item I give and bequeath unto my Sister Abby McCamon Fifty Dollars Item I give and bequeath the Household furniture to be equally divided between my Sister Abby McCamon and my Niece Hannah Jones Item I give and bequeath the overplush of my Estate if any to Margaret Happersett and Eliza Jones Daughters of David and Hannah Jones to be equally divided between them.
