Written: January 15, 1731/2. Proved: June 3, 1732. Will Book A, Page 374. Provides for wife Ann including 100 acres of the land I live on during life, afterward to son James. To eldest son James remaining part of the land I live on which my father gave me being 400 acres. Also 1200 acres near the head of Brandywine and 1/2 of tract of land I bought the right of James Harlan being 500 acres and 1/2 of my share of the Society Mill at Goshen. To son Joseph 400 acres of land adjacent the land I live on bought of Reece Thomas and Anthony Morris, also 100 acres which lies on branch of Conestoga and 1/2 of Harlan tract my share of Mill. To Aaron James and Edward Brinton £5 each. Remainder to Ann, also executrix. Witnesses: William Brinton, Benj. Mendenhall, John Borras.
