I give and bequeath all my Real and Personal Estate with my Wifes Third Part after her Marriage or Deceas Only my Son HENERY is to have one mare none by the Name of Norton, likewise my son PATRICK is the have one horse ______of equal value. I do give and bequeath to my grandson PETER McCLANE five pound to be paid out on in trust for him until he comes of age or when he marrys either of them that should first happen and I do (ask) and Will that all My Personal Estate be Sould at the Hand (tation?) of the Executors (with) out cause and of they do not see cause. Peter Hagan b. 1767 was serving in the Revolutionary War at the time of his father's death. 2nd PA Regiment Yellow Springs; Peter was 12 years old. A guardian was appointed for his portion of his father's estate. This "orphan court" document is also transcribed and on line. Peter Hagan died in Pulaski Co. GA 1818.
