Inquest awarded on 5/3/1813. To the Honorable Judges of the Court of Common Pleas in and for the said County of Chester, now composing and holding Orphan's Court in and for the County of Chester aforesaid: The petition of Jacob High, the eldest son of Jacob High of the township of East Nantmeal in the said county, respectfully showeth, That your petitioner's said father, Jacob High, lately to wit, in the [year] 1812, died intestate having a widow - Elizabeth High - and five children, to wit; your petitioner, John High, Daniel High, Mary intermarried with Henry Landis, and Elizabeth intermarried with Daniel Springer, and seized in his demense as of fee in and to a certain plantation or tract of land situate in the township of East Nantmeal, bounded by lands of John Painter, David High, and land of Warwick Company, containing 130 acres, more or less. Your petitioner prays your honours to award an inquest to make partition of said premises according to law or to value the same. And he will pray - Jacob High.
