East Marlborough. August 5, 1816 & March 22, 1817. August 30, 1817. Provides for wife Mary, and to her dau. Patience $400 and articles of furniture. To son Obed my dwelling house & land, 89 acres, subject to payment of $3400, &c. To son Thomas the house & premises where he now lives, described, cont. 84 1/2 acres; also 4 1/4 acres adj., he paying $4500. To son Levi the east end of my premises, desc., 89 1/2 acres, he paying $3700. To son Jonathan rem. of land, as described, about 82 acres, paying $3100. Est. div. among all children, viz: Obed, Thomas, Levi, Jonathan, Joshua, Hayes and Job, to have equal shares, and 2 daus., Dinah & Ruth each to have 2/3 of a son's share. Codicil gives the land divised to Levi to Hayes, testator having paid for another tract for Levi; also gives to Joshua $200 over and above his equal share.
