All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/pafiles.htm ************************************************ In the name of God I James Quein of Honeybrook Township Chester County and State of Pennsylvania, being week in boddy but of sound mind, memory, and understanding, do make and publish this my last will and testament. Vis it is my will that as soon after my death as possible, my real and personal property shall all be sold by my Executors herin after named. Except my lots of land in Waynesburg, and such of my househould and kitchen furniture, that my dear wife Elizabeth may stand in need of to furnish a house in Waynesburg. Also one cow, two hogs, and one hundred and eighty dollars in cash. Also I give unto my wife Elizabeth the interest of fifteen hundred dollars, as long as she shall continue my widdow, the said sum to be secured, and left, during her widdowhood in my farm, that lays on the turnpike road agoining lands with William and Jacob McConnall, and others in the Township of Honeybrook, and the interest to be paid to her annually, and every year, but if my said wife elizabeth should get married or die, then the said fifteen hundred dollars, is to be paid and divided Eaquely among all my lawful heirs. Also I will to my wife Elizabeth a house and lot, in waynesburg that I may hereafter buye, or seven hundred dollars to buy a house and lot with, and the lots that I now own in the village of waynesburg, During her Widdowhood, but if my wife Elizabeth should get Married or Die, them the said house and lots shall be sold, and the proceeds of said sale divided eaquely among all my lawful heirs. And after paying all my just debts, and funeral expences, and subject to the above mentionshed bequeaths, I will the ballance of the money arising from the sale of my estate to all my children, to be Eaquly Divided among them, as soon after my estate shall be settled up as possible. I do apoint my friend William Compton Gardien of all my miner Children that shall be under age. and will unto my wife the interest of all moneys that may fall due my miner children, till they become of age, at wich time they are to be paid the principle one by one as they become of age. I do apoint my son in law Maddison Irwin, and my wife Elizabeth, Executors of this my last will and testiment. and say that one hundred dollars only be allowed my Executors for their truble and service, in settling up my Estate.
