We encourage links to the state and county table of contents. ______________________________________________________ Know all men by these presents that we Deborah Strode, Evan Jones, and George Entrikin, all of Chester County in the Province of Pennsylvania are held and firmly bound unto William Plumstead Register General for the Probate of Wills and granting Letters of Administration for the said Province in the sum of Five Hundred Pounds lawful money of Pennsylvania to be paid to the said Register General or to his Certain Attorney successor or assigns. To which payment will and truly to be made we bind ourselves our heirs, executors and administrators and every of them in and for the whole jointly and severally firmbly by those prevented, sealed with our seals, dated the 19th day of March Anno Dommini MCCLVI. The condition of this obligation is such that if the a bove bounden Deborah Strode Administratix of the goods and chattels and credits of William Strode late of E. Bradford, deceased, do make or cause to be made a true and perfect inventory of all and singular the goods, chattles, and credits of the said deceased which have or shall come to the hands, possession or knowledge of the said Deborah or into the hands and possession of any other person or persons for her and the same so made & Exhibit or cause to be Exhibitted into Register's office for the said County of Chester on or before the 19th day of April next ensuing and the same goods chattles, and credits of the said deceased which at the time of his death or which at any time after shall come to the hands and possession of the said Deborah or into the hands and possession of any other person or persons for her do well and truly administer according to law, and further do make or cause to be made a true and just amount of her Administration on or before the Nineteenth day of March Anno Dom 1757 And all the rest or residue of the said Goods, Chattels and Credits which shall be found remaining upon the said Adm's Acct the same being first examined and allowed of by the Orphan's Court of the said County shall deliver and pay unto such person and persons respecitvely as the said Court by its decree or sentence pursuant to Law shall submit and appoint. And if it shall hereafter appear that any last Will or Testament was made by ye deceased the the Executor or Executrix therein named do exhibit the same unto the Reg's office making request to have it allowed and approved accordingly if the sd Deborah Strode being thereunto requested do render and deliver the said Letters of Administration approbation of such Testament being first had and made at said office thereunto above Obligation to be void and of no effect, or else to be and remain in full force and virtue.
