These papers had been filed by Davis SAVAGE and Emeline S SWARTLEY 9/21/1877: Know all men by these presents that we, Davis Savage, Emeline S Swartley, Davis Hause and John Fuck of the township of E Coventry, are firmly bound unto the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in the sum of $32,320 lawful money of United States to be paid to said commonwealth, sealed with our seals Dated 9/21/1877: The condition of this obligations are such that of the above bounded Davis Savage adm, and Emeline S Swartley, adm, of all and singular the goods and chattels rights and credits which were of Zenas Savage, late of the said township of E Coventry, and county of Chester, dec'd, do make or cause to be made a true and perfect inventory of all and singular the goods, chattels, and credits of the said deceased which shall come or have come to the hands possession or knowledge of the said Davis Savage and Emeline S Swartley or unto the hands or possession of any other person or persons for them, and the same so made do exhibit or cause to be exhibited in the Register's office, of the county of Chester, within 30 days of the date hereof, and the same goods and chattels and credits of the said deceased at the time of his death which shall at any time come to the hands and possession of the said Davis Savage and Emeline S Swartley, adminx as aforesaid, or unto the hands or possession of any other person or persons for them, do well and truely administer according to law. And further do make or cause to be made a true and just account of their administration within one year from the date hereof, or when thereunto legally required, and all the rest and residue of the said goods, chattels, and credits which shall be found remaining upon the said administration account - the same being, first examined and allowed by the Orphan's Court of the county having jurisdiction - do deliver and pay unto such person or persons as the said Orphan's Court, by their decree or sentence pursuant to law shall limit and appoint and do well and truly comply with the laws of the Commonwealth relating to collateral inheritqances, and if it shall appear that any Last Will and Testament was made by the said deceased, and the same shall be proved according to law, if the said Davis Savage and Emeline S Swartley, admins., as aforesaid, being thereunto required, do surrender the said Letters of Administration to be void or else to be and reamin in full force and virtue.
