Office: 316 Wood Street, New Bethlehem, Clarion Co., Pa. To J.A. Quay, Esq., Morganza, Pa. Dear Sir: There is an old soldier here who has a girl 18 years of age who is incorrigible and vicious and he can't control or do anything with her. He is quite an old man and very poor and he desires to have her sent to the Reform School. Have you room to receive her? If you can take her it would be a blessing to the old man. I told him I would write you first as I had received notice from you last July that you would take children over 16 years of age at that time. Please let me hear from you by return mail. Respectfully, (signed with an inked stamp) D.W. Coheen, Justice of the Peace, New Bethlehem, Pa. This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/pafiles/ File size: 1.4 Kb
