Written: 1867 Recorded: June 1 1867 Patent Commonwealth To David Swabb The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to all to whome these Presents shall come, Greeting: Know Ye, that in consideration of the Monies paid by David Swabb, at the granting of the warrant hereinafter mentioned, and of the sum of Three Dollars & Fifty four cents in full now paid by him into the Treasury Office of this Commonwealth, There is granted by the said Commonwealth unto the said David Swabb, A certain tract of land situate in Limestone Township, Clarion County, Beginning at a Post Thence by land of John Brinker South one degree West one hundred and and ninety six perches to a small yellow Pine, North eighty nine degrees West eighty perches to a post, thence by land of John Brinker & David Swabb South one degree West one hundred and ninety one perches to a post, thence by the last mentioned, and corner of Jefferson County line north one degree east three hundred and eighty six perches to a chestnut, Thence by land of John Brinker north eighty one degrees West thirty four perches to the place of Beginning, Containing One hundred Sixty three Acres, forty four perches & allowance (which said Tract was surveyed in pursuance of a Warrant dated the 5th day of January 1854), Granted to David Swabb, To have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land with the appurtenances unto the said David Swabb and his heirs, to the use of him the said David Swabb, his heirs and Assigns forever, Free and clear of all restrictions and reservations; as to Mines, Royalties, Quit rents, or otherwise, excepting and reserving only the fifth part of all gold and silver ore, for the use of the Commonwealth, to be delivered at the Pit's mouth, clear of all charges, In Witness Whereof James Polloch, Govener of the said Commonwealth hath hereunto set his hand and seal of the office of the Surveyor General of Pennsylvania hath been hereunto affixed the Seventh day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty five and of the Commonweath the Seventy ninth.
