JERRY BEST Mrs. Jerry Best, nee Anna Eliza Barlett, was born Nov. 24, 1830, and died Feb. 7, 1911, aged 80 years, 2 months and 13 days. She was baptized in early infancy and confirmed May 7, 1859 by Rev. J.S. Shade, Pastor of St. Paul’s Reformed Church. She remained faithful to the church of her choice for almost 52 years. She was united in marriage with Jeremiah Best, who preceded her to the Great Beyond four years ago. To them were born two children, Mrs. James Garis, of Turnip Hole, and Mrs. Chas. Shreffler, of Delaware. Mrs. Best was a kind and devoted wife and mother and a dear friend and neighbor. Services were conducted by her pastor, Rev. H. S.
