Shook, died early Friday morning, November 11, 1955, at the family home in Curllsville. She was born January 10, 1870, in Monroe township, Clarion county, a daughter of Philip J. and Mary C. Shoemaker. She was married to W. J. Shook who passed away some years ago. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Grace Glovier, of New Kensington; a son, Harold E. Shook, of Ingram, Pa.; a sister, Mrs. Rebecca Fulmer, of McKeesport. Eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren also survive. Mrs. Shook was a member of the Grace Evangelical and Reformed church, and a member of the Church Guild. Services were held Monday in the Grace Evangelical and Reformed church at 2:30 p.m. conducted by Rev. Morris H. Cooper, of Greenville, Interment was made in the Licking cemetery.
